The Course of Treatment
Together, we will assess pacing and depth. We will create goals and establish an undercurrent of objectives to guide us along. Structure and flexibility coexist in our work together. Think foundation building - this work is not brief, but is intentional and deeply layered. The stronger your foundation, the ability to maintain the work we build upon it solidifies, in and outside the session.
We will:
Get to know your capacity to be present with your internal world, implement coping skills, and move toward emotion regulation and integration.
Explore the systems and experiences that have shaped you - your beliefs, wounds, gifts, interpersonal dynamics, and patterns.
Assess nervous system functioning, explore window of tolerance, and begin to strengthen and renew the mind-body connection.
When appropriate, we may incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to address trauma, childhood wounds, and specific phobias. Evidence-based approaches that include trauma-informed parts work and mind-body interventions are woven throughout treatment. Faith integration is included when desired.
At its core, our work centers on identifying and reshaping limiting core beliefs, untangling stuck patterns, and restoring a connected, grounded, embodied experience of yourself and the world. My guiding goal is for you to have a discerned understanding of your holistic self, informed by your nervous system, so you can move forward integrated, authentically, intentionally, and redemptively.​
Before Session

Weekly or biweekly sessions are recommended at the start of treatment and are based on availability. After scheduling, you will receive a portal link to complete intake paperwork. Insurance and payment are finalized with the operations team prior to your first session, either by phone or by arriving fifteen minutes early.
The First Session
- Intake -
Our first session focuses on gathering your history and understanding your context and what brings you to this season of pursuing growth and healing. Opening up to someone new can feel vulnerable, and it is an honor to hold your story. The more context I have, the better I can meet you where you are. You are always welcome to share only what feels safe. Intake may span one to three sessions, allowing us to move at a gentle pace and pause when needed.

Tapering & Termination
My goal is for you to feel confident in your foundation, equipped with skills, and assured in who you are, to need counseling less. I also believe that healthy individuals maintain optimal functioning by being proactive and scheduling maintenance or “as needed” sessions with wisdom and discernment.​​​
